I created this when I was getting back into my Photoshop. It started out as a hunt for splatter brushes on the web for which I found a fair few plus I created some of my own getting vector splatters from iStockphoto.
Anyway Im not overly impressed with this image now ...its ok but its just my experimentation.
Well, I think that it's very cool! I've never done anything on Photoshop so I wouldn't know what was considered great or not, but I think this is a very pretty and significant piece.
Thanks mate. Its just looking at it again I thought 1. it looks too white and 2. its missing something.... i just couldn't work on it any longer so stopped there.
Ive got an idea for anther piece anyway which I'm working on and can share with you guys!
But I appreciate your support....its what drives me to get tucked into my work more!
thats really cool!! but its true that the white background is well...maybe too white... still a like it! do you do tutorials by the way man? I would really like to do stuff like that!!
I dont create tutorials unfortunately but its been something thats been in the pipeline! I'm considering or have been considering developing a /tutorials section on my website but I'm still designing my website so its on the back burner at the moment! I agree with your comment about it looking too white to be honest I was going to go back to it but then I started creating the MM1 piece (which you can see in my gallery) most of the ideas for that were going to be used on this piece were talking about here but it just ended up being its own piece! A natural evolution of thought I guess in this case.
If you want any hints or tips though let me know Ill try to help out!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
